Making Memories Everyday

The kids and I made gingerbread trees! I had stopped by Michael's shorty after Christmas and they had them on sale for $2 so I bought 2 and last night we put one together! It was so much fun. We even had a food fight when we were done! That was the fun part momma had to clean when the kids went to bed. Daddy helped but he really didn't want too. It is moments when you are standing in a kitchen looking at a huge mess you have to clean up and it really doesn't matter. You don't care because the happiness you got out of that mess was worth it. So as I scrubbed green frosting off my floor I did so with a huge smile on my face.

I hope that my kids recall there childhood it is full of laughs and smiles .

Getting ready to make a tree.

Making the frosting.

Annabelle took over.

Judge licking the icing bowl.

Johnny had different ideas on exactly how the icing was to be used.

OK in my defense, I really think she started it.....

I don't think I have laughed that hard in a LONG LONG LONG time.

Annabelle after the "battle"

I think Judge got the worse part of it. Annabelle is a bit faster then he is.

At least his head matches his pants if nothing else does.

I think the green suites him.

Yeah he had fun too.

Johnny was ready for bed.

Our finished product!

Annabelle didn't want to go to bed......I wonder why???

Learning our way.......More Numbers

Judge is my sensitive one. He is also Mr. Perfection. Heaven forbid he colors outside of the lines or connects the wrong dots. If he makes a mistakes it takes me about 5 minutes to calm him down. He gets so upset that he hasn't done it perfect. I guess he gets that from his momma and daddy but that is one trait I wish would have skipped my sensitive little man.

I have to just keep telling him that it is OK. He wants to do so good and make momma proud, that when he does mess up it is so pitiful to see him that disappointed. I will have to keep reminding him that everyone makes mistakes and it doesn't have to be perfect.

Judge worked on 7 and 8 today he is doing so well. He did his review sheet all by himself.

Happy homeschooling.

Connect the dots.

Coloring his lady bug.

My happy boy.

Almost done.

Number 7

7 little owls.

Number 8

8 little mice

He did this page all by himself. He had to identify the number then figure out how many objects to color. Once he had counted them I traced the ones he needed me too. He still likes me tracing before he colors I think it helps him really remember what he is doing.

8 balloons

He has gotten good at tracing numbers.

All done for the day.

Day 24......."DA DA"

Liam said "DA DA"!

NOW he has all four:
Annabelle-"da da"
Judge- "da da"
John Paul- "da da"
Liam- "da da"

Hey it's hard saying "MA MA" but come on we only carry them for 9 months, get up with them every night for 4, and cook, clean, and take care of them for 18 years!

The next one HAS to say "ma ma" first, bottom line!

Standing tall.

What in the world.

Just another Tuesday

"Mommy I wish they had a Cars 3...

and 4!"

All clean.

Wearing Annabelle's old soccer shirt.

I don't know what got into him today. He laughed from the minute he got up until he went to bed.

That is him laughing!

I am not sure what was so funny.

Still smiling.

Good Morning.

he had his tickle box turned on today too.

I love that look he gives when he has had enough pictures.

show down with rabbit.

He was entertaining Liam while Judge and I did school work..
