Learning our way.......More Numbers

Judge is my sensitive one. He is also Mr. Perfection. Heaven forbid he colors outside of the lines or connects the wrong dots. If he makes a mistakes it takes me about 5 minutes to calm him down. He gets so upset that he hasn't done it perfect. I guess he gets that from his momma and daddy but that is one trait I wish would have skipped my sensitive little man.

I have to just keep telling him that it is OK. He wants to do so good and make momma proud, that when he does mess up it is so pitiful to see him that disappointed. I will have to keep reminding him that everyone makes mistakes and it doesn't have to be perfect.

Judge worked on 7 and 8 today he is doing so well. He did his review sheet all by himself.

He did this page all by himself. He had to identify the number then figure out how many objects to color. Once he had counted them I traced the ones he needed me too. He still likes me tracing before he colors I think it helps him really remember what he is doing.

Hey it's hard saying "MA MA" but come on we only carry them for 9 months, get up with them every night for 4, and cook, clean, and take care of them for 18 years!

Day 23.......Putty in his hands

Since Johnny has started talking I have been trying to get him to say "Love you". Not just trying but begging. He will say ANYTHING (or at least try), but he would not for the life of him say "Love you". He would not even TRY! I could get him to repeat 100 words but the minute I said "love you.", he shut down like the feds shut down MegaUpload. He would just smile at me and start laughing.

So today when I tucked him in for nap time, he started screaming because he either didn't want a nap or wanted a toy to take to bed or a snack. So as I was headed to the door to grab his blanket I heard from behind me "RUV U, RUV U." I screamed so loud. It was so pitiful, but made me so happy. I had to get him a treat and let him out to find a toy to take to bed.

I got him calmed down and back in bed, I looked over his crib and told him I loved him and to have a good nap. I asked him "Johnny can you say love you?"

He smiled, laughed, and rolled over!
